Junk
I brougt a J-480, 3 months ago and I have deeply regretted it from day 1
the installers was rude and did not explain anything, just throw manuals and materials on the ground and left not giving me half of the promised materials.
The remote was missing and I just got it 14 weeks later and its broken
The Main pump has been broken already and the water is turning brown every week. I have in 14 weeks changed the water 5 times.
Last week I have repair people out and now the first time after it, there is huge boobles on the wawter.
And they dont even want to return it
as an owner of a J470, I have had no major issues. The problem you are describing with the water is probably the wrong water chemistry. Using the right sanitizer is crucial to clean water. Try to use a powdered Bromine concentrate and hand feed. Do not use tablets or floaters and be sure to use non-chlorine shock when you use your bromine. I have worked in this industry for over 17yrs. It is unfortunate that you had a bad experience with the dealer, but hopefully you can forgive and start enjoying your spa
